The Cycle Route

The cycle begins from the Share Holiday Village situated on the shores of Upper Lough Erne.

The cycle follows the B127 traveling North East to the county town of Lisnaskea.  A brief cycle through busy main street Lisnaskea brings cyclist to a rural route on the A34 followed by an unclassified road traveling over Inishmore Island via Carrybridge and the Inishmore Viaduct.  Shortly after crossing the Viaduct cyclists will take a left turn onto the A509, after a number of shallow but long climbs a brief detour is taken around Knockninny Hill and along the Shores of Upper Lough Erne before turning back onto the A509.  This road brings cyclist through Derrylin and Teemore before crossing the border into the Republic of Ireland at Aghalane Bridge.  The N3 will bring the route through Belturbet.  The R197 and the N54 will take cyclist back North.  The N54 turns into the A3 at the border and cyclists will then take a series of unclassified roads back to Share via Derryad.

The Canoe Route

The canoe journey will depart from Smith's Strand at Share before heading south under the Lady Craigavon Bridge.  The route will go five miles towards Crom Castle with a distinct marker buoy indicating the turning point.  Competitors will then retrace their steps back to Share.

The Run

The run takes place on a number of unclassified roads to the North East of Share.  The route navigates its way through a maze of rural and quiet roads.
